TLDRWawa will open its first store in Nashville on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 8033 Highway 100 in the Bellevue area. It is the chain's sixth Tennessee store in 2026, after Clarksville, Dickson, Murfreesboro, Lebanon and Manchester. The store will sell fuel, coffee and made-to-order food. Wawa has not yet announced an opening hour.

Nashville is getting its first Wawa.

The Pennsylvania-based convenience store chain said this week it will open a store at 8033 Highway 100 on Thursday, Nov. 19, with a grand opening ceremony to mark the day. The site is in the Bellevue area of west Nashville, ZIP code 37221.

"We are excited to spread our wings into Nashville with our first store in the city and sixth location in Tennessee," Wawa President Brian Schaller said in the announcement.

What's coming

The Highway 100 store will sell fuel along with Wawa's food and drink lineup, including custom-built hoagies, fresh-brewed coffee, Sizzli breakfast sandwiches, specialty drinks and a dinner menu with burgers, soups and sides, according to Progressive Grocer.

Wawa has not said what time the doors will open or what giveaways are planned. When the chain opened Tennessee's first store in Clarksville on June 18, doors opened at 8 a.m., and the first 250 customers got free T-shirts and hot coffee was free for four days, according to the company's event notice. WSMV reported about 40 people were in line by 6 a.m. that morning.

How fast Wawa is growing in Middle Tennessee

The Nashville store is the sixth Wawa to open in Tennessee this year. The chain opened its first in Clarksville in June, followed by stores in Dickson, Murfreesboro, Lebanon and Manchester. Wawa says one more store is planned in Murfreesboro, for seven Tennessee stores in 2026.

Over the next 10 years, Wawa plans to build more than 50 stores in Tennessee, according to NACS, the convenience store trade group. The company says each store costs more than $7.5 million to build and employs about 35 people once open, and it expects the expansion to create about 1,800 long-term jobs.

The Murfreesboro area is also about to get another big fuel-and-food stop. See our story on the Buc-ee's Murfreesboro opening on Nov. 16, plus more Nashville-area business news and Davidson County news.
