Nashville SC heads to TQL Stadium on Saturday for MLS Decision Day with history on the line and nothing left to prove in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Supporters' Shield winners and No. 1 East seed sit at 74 points after 33 matches, tied with the Inter Miami mark from 2024. Kickoff against FC Cincinnati is 3 p.m. CT (4 p.m. ET). The match streams on Apple TV, and radio is on 104.5 The Zone.

What's at stake

A draw would give Nashville 75 points and a new league record. A win would make it 77. A loss leaves the club sharing the record at 74.

Nashville already clinched the Shield, the No. 1 overall seed and home-field advantage through the MLS Cup Playoffs, including MLS Cup on Dec. 18 if it reaches the final. Its first-round opponent will be the Eastern Conference wild-card winner. Round One opens at GEODIS Park on Nov. 22.

FC Cincinnati's seeding scramble

Cincinnati enters seventh in the East at 46 points (12 wins, 10 draws, 11 losses) with its playoff berth already locked. A win would keep the Orange and Blue above the wild-card line and could lift them to sixth if Philadelphia slips. A loss, plus a Columbus win, could drop Cincinnati into the wild-card round.

Eastern Conference matches kick off together at 4 p.m. ET, so Cincinnati will know its final seed when the whistle blows.

Nashville beat Cincinnati 4-0 at GEODIS Park on Aug. 29. The clubs are even in the MLS era of the rivalry at four wins apiece, with Nashville holding a 23-16 goals edge, according to the club.

How to watch

Nashville ranks among the league's top attacks with 69 goals and has allowed 25, one off the modern single-season goals-against mark. Cristian Espinoza sits on 15 assists, and Sam Surridge and Hany Mukhtar pace the attack, the club said in its GEODIS Preview.
